Liver Biopsy

I had a liver biopsy but I don't understand the results.
It said 1-)Marked Macro and Microsteatosis involving approximately 80% of the  specimen                                                                                                          2-) Mild to moderate chironic triaditis                                                                                                                3-0Focal lobular inflammation.
What does all this mean

Thank You Darlene

Since the report said 80% of the specimen had steatosis does that mean 80% of my liver and do I need to worry?

Hi, ‘steatosis’ means fatty infiltration and ‘itis’ means inflammation. So, basically the report states that there is fatty infiltration in the liver with inflammatory changes. Regards.
