I called the doctor's office back to check on the diagnosis and what it meant. The nurse told me that these types of cysts - small ones that is - are quite commonCommon cold and that if they scanned the population at large they would find them on a high percentage of the population. My cyst was small, less than a cm and hardly noticeable on the scan.
She told me not to stress about it but I'm going to follow-up when I have my next visit.
I to had ct scan and I have a cyst on my liver and my kidney.Doctor said they see these all the time in surgery he said sorry I had to make the trip to see him maybe have a ct scan once a year to watch for growth.So don't stress yourself out over this.I sure was releived myself.
