Liver pain but normal LFT

I have been having some pain around my liver area for a few weeks now. I have been quite sick, and i feel sick most of the time. I have seen the Dr a few times now. I have had an ultrasound in Jan because of a Kidney infection and they said that my gall bladder is fine but my liver has a fatty appearance. The Dr said that its probably not my gall bladder and it could be my liver. My LFT blood test has come back as normal. I fell like I am going mad as the pain is always there, it fells like I have some trapped between my ribs. please could any one shed some light on this? I am also taking oristat for weight loss because I have PCOS. Could it be the Oristat?

Ask your doctor to order a HIDA scan which measures the function of the gallbladder, just becasue it appears normal on a CT scan or ULtrasound doesnt mean its functioning properly, there is other gallbladder diseases besides stones,  Hope this helps.
