I saw a very long white "worm", but flushed it. Will a stool sample do any good if there is no worm in it?
Well when I replied, it was in the Medhelp Suggestions section, not Gastroenterology. It was moved here about 15 minutes after I posted (I got an email)
Worms get into the body many different ways. She might have ingested some raw meat that had eggs in it. Certain worms also find their way into their host's body through pores in their feet.
Enshore, get a stool sample specimen jar from the doc, take a sample, and get the sample in for analysis. Once the substance is identified, the doc will be able to prescribe a medication, if necessary.
uh...this is the Gastroenterology forum
This is the wrong forum to post this in, Gastroenterology would be better. There are many posts in this section u could review in the expert forum that have already been answered by the professional.
