Looking for an answer

It started with a sharp pain in one spot in my stomach that came and went. That was for a couple of weeks. Then for a few days my stomach just didn't feel right. Then one day my stomach felt so bloated like I had a big ball in it.I Left something out.About 5 mo. before this I was told by my doctor to take prev-pac to clear a bacterial infection that she
discovered. So I took the pills and thought nothing of it. I went to the doctor and told him this. He did an endoscopy
and said I had gastritis and said I still was infected with H. pylori. He put me on Helidac and I came back negative
for H.pylori. I was still having pain, and ever since I had the ball feeling in my stomach I've been taking Nexium. Then he said
he wanted to do a CT scan even though my Ultrasound was O.K., Only they couldn't get a good look at my pancreas.
I didn't want to do it because of the radiation and I didn't see a connection although I have been drinking heavily for the
last 2 years. I went to another doctor and he told me to stop taking Nexium and take the test for H.pylori again because It wouldn't have shown up on the prior test if I was on it.So after 2 wk. no nexium I tested neg. I was
happier to be off the
Nexium, besides the mylanta and maalox that he told me to take instead didn't taste that bad and it
seamed like they worked.I started feeling OK so slacked off the Maalox and had my wife's beef soup and all over again
that sharp pain in my left side and the burping then start chugging Maalox and mylanta and in a few days it subsides
and I worry if I keep doing this to my stomach then what? And my wife is due next mo.I called the second doctor back
he said the next thing he would do is do a test to see how my stomach is emptying.I'm worried that I've ruined my stomach.
