Loose Stools

Loose Stools

Hi, I returned from Bali  on 5th August.  Whilst in Bali found worms in my stools accompanied by slime and although not watery, very loose and bitty stools.  Was treated with single dose of 6 tablets of Combantrim and 3 days on Flagyl.  On returning to Australia saw doctor as although no worms visible, bowel movements frequent and as before, loose and bitty.  Repeated treatment Combantrim and a week of antibiotics.  Course of antibiotics finished on 14th August but no improvement.  Never manage to go to toilet for urinating without passing loose stools.  No associated pain.  However, when I feel the need to go, I need to find a toilet like immediately as otherwise an accident will occur!  Stool specimen was taken and results showed all clear!!!  Please can you shed some light on my predicament.  I have never ever experienced anything like this in my life.  Although I do not think of bowel cancer, I feel I should tell you that my father died of bowel cancer many years ago, my beloved daughter at the age of 37 died 5 years ago of bowel cancer and my brother 3 months later also of bowel cancer  I am 67 years old and otherwise healthy apart from dreadful osteoarthritis.  By dreadful I mean a lot of pain but I do keep mobile walking, yoga and working out but not regularly.  I thank you for your comments.  Sula
