Lower Abdominal Pain but closer to groin?

Here is a picture of where the pain ... was:

I was concerned I might have appendicitis, but based on everything I've read, the pain is too low (albeit on the right side) to be appendicitis.  It was dull and came and went every 20-40 minutes.  I would call it "strong discomfort" but not actual pain.

I tried the test where you press down firmly in different areas and quickly release.  No difference in pain.  Coughing did not affect the pain, nor did jumping.

It has not bothered me since, except for a few lingering pains in the trunk-area, but given how much I was poking and prodding myself, I can't say I'm suprised.

Would it make sense to have this pain for 1 day, off and on (just a slight irritant maybe once or twice for a few minutes the first day).  Then the second day it got more irritating and persistent into the evening.  This morning when I woke up I did not notice and haven't all day long.

Any ideas on this? Should I be concerned?  I was planning going to the bar this weekend and am concerned about drinking there if I have an appendix complication.

Hi tried the link to your pain photo but it doesn't work..

I don't think the pain has existed  long enough for you to be concerned. Could just be a bit of digestion discomfort. If it continues for a month or so,  or gets worse in the meantime, suggest you go to your PCP or GP.  Do you have any other symptoms like weight loss, diarrhea, etc?

If "going to the bar" means an alcoholic one rather than legal, I would take it easy.

Take care,
Liz.

You'll have to copy and paste this into your address bar:

Test link

I tried to test link it above.

Anyhow, thanks for the response.  It was just curious where the pain was located.
