Lower right groin pain

by shegirl, Mar 25, 2009 01:05PM
I had a complete hysterectomy May 19, 2008. Since then, I've had a sharp piercing pain in my lower right groin area connecting the thigh. It happened twice, several months apart. The pain comes on lightly and grows in intensity! It's so bad that I can't move my right leg. Then it goes away and comes back, doing this for about a day or two then it's gone. This happened the first time before the holidays and then again this March. My OB wants me to have a cat scan and ultrasound done for my gallbladder. Can you please explain to me why the gallbladder and what you think about this?
