Lump

by Jason__0, Jul 17, 1998 12:00AM

I have a small lump on the outer edge of my rectum. Its not painful unless
it is tampered with. It doesnt really hurt at all, I just am curious
about what it is.... its not bleeding or anything. Can anyone help me...?

DEar Jason,
Your symptom is probably not very serious.  Hemarrhoid, skin tag or anal wart can cause the prblem that you describe.  If you are anxious about the lump, see your physician who can examne the lesion.
