Medication for inflamed colon

I have been taking 1mg of Ativan for a few years, I was given this for Panic attacks. I have been having stomach troubles and a recent cat scan showed I have a swollen colon. I was given donatal. I am afraid to take it, as I fear interaction with the ativan. Is it safe to take these drugs at diffenent times of the day. I am going to see my Gastro Dr. next week.

Using a drug interaction checker on these two meds says that there are no interactions.
