Mild mobile sludge in Gallbladder

Mild mobile sludge in Gallbladder

Hi,

Please help, i have been having upper right side discomfort for about 6 months and went for a sonogram,i have been diagnosed with mild mobile sludge, and was reffered to a Surgeon, he said my Gallbladder will have to be removed, that their is no cure for Gallbladder sludge, is this true? the liver was normal on the sonogram, with no masses or bilitary dilation, there was no gallstones, the digital common duct is 4mm,The spleen was unremarkable and there is no ascites. There was no mass or enlargement of the pancreas, however portions of the pancreatic tail had bowel gas,the kidneys were normal in size and echotexture with no stones, and or hydronephrosis and the visualised abdominal aorta shows no sign of aneurysm. So the only two things were Mild mobile sludge, and bowel gas in pancreatic tail. I am an otherwise healthy 36 year old,and wanted to know is it absolutely necessary to remove my Gallbladder?
Thanks
