Hi , I have Barret's for over 8 years and I can tell you that no spice will cure it .
If you were dx with Barret's , then you should be on surveillance ( endoscopy every 2 years , depending on what is the current stage and biopsy results )
C.pepper will aggravate your stomach and esophagus if taking excessively .
Ones there is a change to the lining in you esophagus it will rarely disappear on its own if ever . This is what my doc is saying.
Hope this help:)

Hello,

I would definitely stay away from any pepper.  Spicy foods (onions, garlic, peppers, cumin (for me) trigger reflux.

My two cents.
God bless.
