My daughter is having abdominal pain

by hsmom36, Mar 27, 2009 07:59PM
My 13 year old daughter has been suffering from abdominal pain for a little over a year.  She is unable to eat much without becoming very crampy in her right abdomin (abdomen).  She suffers from joint hypermobility and has been diagnosed with POTS.  We had the breath test for lactose intolerance last week.  Her hydrogen started at 5 then went 26 thirty later... 98, 119, 129, 139 Methane 3, 26, 29, 31, 37, 39.  Just wondering about the results...I know she is lactose intolerant and has an overgrowth of bacteria in small intestines.  Are the test fairly typical.  And what could be causing this?
