My poop is black and I haven't had my Period

For the past couple of days I have noticed that my poop is almost completely black and at first I thought that it was okay because I had been constipated for a while, but then I remembered that when my mom had UC that the same things happened to her. I have had a constant stomach cramping that leaves and comes back, sometimes really sharp. I'm bloated and have a lot of gas but that doesn't seem to really be a "problem". I also haven't had my period in two months. I'm wondering if any of this is bad?
I haven't had pepto bismol*, or eaten anything to cause my poop to chance colors.
I don't eat artificial sugars or anything of the sort. I exercise pretty regularly and I drink enough water.
Somebody help?

I think you should seek medical advice in case of G.I. bleeding.  The medical name for motions that are coloured black due to the presence of digested blood is melena.  You may wish to type this into google and learn more so that when you discuss the matter with your doctor you can ask "is this melena and, if so, what are the consequences?"

Of course there could be other reasons.

There are several things that can cause this, you need to see a gastro doc and have it checked out.
