My son has cirrhosis

My son has cirrhosis

My son is 30 years old, not receiving any medical treatment. His wait is 44 inches around, he is jaundice, has a sever case of esophagial varices and is urinating orange. Since he is not receiving medical care, it is day by day of watching him die. The unknown is awful. Can  anyone tell me how long this can go on? He eats very little, but still drinks on a good day 9 beers. He use to drink 24 a day. He sleeps alot and is very weak. It is heartbreaking..

I think you should go ahead and call the ambulance to come get your son, tell the emergency people his symptoms, that you think he's dying.  Don't tell your son.  When the medics arrive, they will most definitely take him to the hospital where he can get treatment, whether he likes it or not.  You need help with this, so just go ahead right now and make that phone call before you lose your nerve, you will have done the right thing, and you may even save his life.  The alternative is not only bad for your son, but downright wretched for you.  You also need to get a minister or male relative involved with your life at this stage, because you will need all the help you can get during this ordeal.  Accept that you need help, and make that call.  God speed.
