pain. Sometimes it can occur 3 times a month, and sometimes only once every few months. The pain is so severe I end up on the ground screaming, sweating
is so severe it feels like my intestines are going to explode. The pain comes in waves, it starts out far apart and not too intense. Eventually the waves of pain become closer together and the pain becomes more severe. Eventually it all goes away, but it usually lasts about 2 to 3 hours. Sometimes I have extreme nausea that can last about a week. Nothing seems to help it. Sometimes I have a loss of appetite. I get hungry and when I start to eat something I feel extremely full. On the other hand
sometimes I am extremely hungry and no matter how much I eat I can't get satisfied. Sometimes I have intestional cramping and bloating. When this happens I pop gas
relief pills like candy. Nothing seems to help it. My bowel movements are usually irregular. Sometimes I go everyday and sometimes I skip 3 or 4 days. I've tried changing my diet, but that didn't work. I tried recording everything I ate and nothing seemed to pop out to what could be causing my symptoms. I've been to the doctors numerous times for these problems, and every single time I get a "well it might be this" and they send me one my way. I've been told it's a UTI
, stress, inflammed cervix, acid reflex, and mono. I know there is something seriously wrong with me and I just wish I could get some answers and go on with my life. I am only 20 years old.
Have you seen a gastroenterologist? This type of doctor I think could better address your problems. You need to get this pain and bloating addressed, as it seems to be related to your GI tract.
Have you ever had a CAT Scan? I think it might be a good idea to ask for one and make sure you don't have a blockage or constriction. I used to get the pain and nausea in the waves like that for months before it finally got so bad I wound up in the ER and they discovered a blockage. It wasn't completely blocking things but it was constricting things enough to cause problems. I'd get that checked out.
And I've never known Mono to have those kind of symptoms.
