Narrow Colon

Recently a scan showed some areas in my colon that are extremely narrow. What can cause this?

Chaplainwes, if you're talking about something like a stricture, they are typically due to some on-going inflammatory process. Many people with inflammatory bowel conditions unfortunately get strictures. In other cases they form due to a long forgotten infection, but one that has damaged the lining of the colon that results in stricture formation.
