Nausea - Need Help!!

Currently suffering with a colitis flare up.  Nausea is more frequent.  Any hints on over the counter meds that may help control and yet not cause constipation?

If you want a home remedy cure for nausea, you can place a sliver of fresh ginger root in your mouth, tuck it in by the gums and leave it there for about 20 minutes.  Believe me, this really works!  This is something doctor's recommend for women suffering from morning sickness, and it works for any kind of nausea.
