Nausea and Heartburn

This started about a little over a month ago. I began to lose my appetite and I couldn't eat as much. I had pretty bad heartburn that would burn up to my ear. I've thrown up on two occasions in the morning a very bitter green liquid. The last 2 weeks, the heartburn has mostly gone away and I do have an appetite, but now I have really bad nausea right when I wake up and it lasts the entire day (just not as bad as when I first wake up). I've also had looser stools than normal on some days after this started.

I've had shingles so I don't know if the dull/burning pain on my right side right under my rib cage is from that or something else. Very seldom, when I take a deep breath I will get a sharp pain at a specific spot where I guess my gallbladder/liver would be (the same general area as the dull/burning pain).

I don't normally get headaches, but the last 3 weeks I've gotten them at times, I'd say moderate level again.

I don't know if it's GERD or gallstones since what I've read say gallstones are much more intense pain, mine is very moderate.

I feel hungry, but can't eat because I'm nauseous. I have an appointment on Friday, I'm just wondering what I can/should expect.

I haven't tried antacids, would it be okay to take them?

Thank you.

They took my gallbladder out the other day and found a "spot" on my liver. Biopsy isn't back yet. I had so many different symptoms it was a confusing mess!!

Gallstones can cause no pain, very little, or alot. It does sound like you may be having a gallbladder problem.
I'm glad to hear you have an appointment. Your Dr will feel around on the right side. If you feel pain, and with the symptoms you already have, he may recommend you see a GI specialist to have some tests done.
Yes, you should be able to take an antacid with no problems as long as you're not on any other medications that may interact with antacids.
