Nausea and radiating cramping 30 seconds after eating

My daughter has been sick for 2 years!  First she just would feel ill after eating high fat/protein things.  Now, everything she eats makes her sick.  Once she puts something in her mouth, the nauseau hits within 30 seconds, followed by pain in the middle that radiates to the pancreas area and then to her back.  She typically has to stop eating before she's finished because she begins gagging as if she will throw up if anything else goes down.  Also, she has a bm within 30 minutes of every meal.  The nausea and pain will last over an hour depending on what she ate.  She's had the hida scan, upper gi, emptying study, ultra sound, endo, to no avail!

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  I agree that it doesn't sound at all like CVS.  However, I would recommend she get a CT scan of her abdomen to make sure that everything is okay there.

Oddly, she has actually turned naturally to ginger in pickled form and peppermint gum after every meal.  I think it's wonderful how our body knows how to calm itself down.  I actually have the CVS so am aware of the symptoms and she doesn't come close to any of them.  I got her into MAYO MN in May so we're looking forward to possibly having answers.  I just keep looking because a lot of times, the doctors I think will miraculously help us, end up being deadends.

Ginger is an effective remedy for nausea after eating. Drink 1tsp of fresh ginger juice mixed with 2 tsp of honey to solve the problem of nausea.

Peppermint:
It is another home remedy that appears to relax tightened stomach muscles related to nausea after eating. To get relief from nausea after eating, chew a piece of peppermint gum or suck a peppermint flavored candy.

Acupressure:
Wrist acupressure can prevent and relieve nausea. Just below wrist, the pressure point is present on the underside of arm. Use your middle and index finger to measure two fingers width below where your hand meets your arm. With your thumb or middle finger, press right below that between the two large tendons. For 2 to 3 minutes, apply moderate pressure.
