First, is it possible to NOT notice bleeding from an ulcer? Second what is the most common treatment for a bleeding ulcer, has anyone had one and what did they do? Do you always have to have an endoscopy or is their an easier way, etc. Please help. Thanks.

If you are concerned that you have a bleeding ulcer, please go to the doctor.  If you are having black stools go to the doctor now. If you are vomiting up blood, call 911.  I am not a doctor and so don't take my word as given here, but as far as I know, a bleeding ulcer would cause some sort of noticeable sign such as the two listed above.
