Need to find physician for colonoscopy

by suetesch, Jan 08, 2009 03:39PM
I put constipation down as a question because it is one of my symptoms. Because I have been putting it off for so long my complaints are numerous. I moved to Arkansas from New Jersey. My physician there used Diprovan for my colonoscopy and gastroscopy. I have been diligent about this since 1990. I have a faamily history of GI cancer. My brother died from it. My colon is tortiated and loopy. I have had a physician get stuck and almost had to go to the OR. After that I can not tolerate any more pain due to this procedure. It is excruciating. I don't understand why I can find a gastro that uses this anesthesia. Can anyone please help me? I have called all of the gastros in Springfield, Missouri and they do not use it nor do they use it where I live here in Arkansas.
