Nervous Stomach? Now Yellow Stools...

by Worried One, Feb 07, 2002 12:00AM
Hello. This is my first post. I'm undergoing a great deal of stress. Prior to the start of this stressful period, I was as regular as could be...big healthy bowel movements at least once a day. As soon as the stress started, I would only go about once every other day and then the stools would be loose. I wouldn't call it diarrhea because it still only happened once a day and there was no real urgency associated with it. My Dr. put me on Paxil to alleviate the stress which I believe started to kick in yesterday. I'm much calmer than I had been. This morning, I had a regular bowel movement but it was yellow. Do you think this is all associated with the stress I'm experiencing? I've also been eating considerably less than I used to due to the stress. Also, yesterday, all I ate was macarroni and cheese...all day...would that have something to do with the color??

Can't believe I'm talking about this but would appeciate any input!!

Thanks!!
