Nissen Fundoplacation

by byoung1316, Nov 12, 2007 11:24AM
I have had two Nissen Fundoplacations done----one in 2004 and another in 2006 and both have come 'undone.'  What could be causing this and should I consider having it done again????  I take Nexium/40 mg. twice daily and still have heartburn.

I also have just had the Nissen Fundoplacation -- March 08 -- when and where did you have yours done -- and who was your doctor?  I have never heard of them coming undone -- but, guess that wasn't mentioned to me -- please write back and give me more information.  I'm having quite a bit of stomach pain -- my heartburn is better, however.
