No stomach and life complications

Female, 53 - I have Barrett's Disease and I don't think the stuff that comes up qualifies as Gurd (gerd) anymore. At times very horrible bile. Five years ago I had a gastric bypass. Shortly after I began to have complications or just life developments. I now have (from childhood) no tonsils and no adnoids, (from young adult) c-sections (two, one was ill and in hospital for 2 months before birth of son, other w ... [More] ent well), age 32 total hystorectomy (hemmoraging and cysts or benign tumors all over everything), gall bladder removal  age 45 or so (stone got caught in common bile duct waited too long got very ill), at age 48 I had a gastric bypass and developed a bleeding ulcer had it caterized, age 49 had appendix taken out, scar something or other done, and numerous endoscopies (that tube down throat to see down in there), age 50 numerous trips to the hospital because of dehydration (spitting up and vomiting, IV hospital stay usually three days),  decision to reverse bypass (surgery went fine), called Dr. after surgery (started spitting up all over again) he said I was no longer a gastric bypass patient and needed to find a gastro doctor - reversal did not work (in fact made matters much much much worse). Found an EXCELLENT doctor in New York City at BETH ISREAL HOSPITAL, several tests done, more days in hospital, and MANY MANY doctors determined best course of action was complete removal of my stomach (it was shaped like an hour glass, no medications would make it work correctly had food in stomach 3 hours after I ate the HORRIBLE TASTING EGGS! some in one part of hour glass some in bottom part). I am much better now except for what I am beinging to think is not life threatening but very quality diminishing when it happens. Vomiting (not more than once or twice a week), dry heaving, PAIN, dizzy, diarrhea (almost continually), sudden onset diarrhea, (sometimes pass out, but only three times since surgery in June of 2008), I have gotten a variety of suggestions all of which do not completely stop all my complications. I, as you can probably determine, watch my weight very carefully (I want to keep it on, not worried about being over weight). I have tried every variation of food (liquid no liquid, pasta no pasta, sugar no sugar, fat no fat etc) but at times this can happen with the very same food I ate the night before and was fine with (my GP believes it has nothing to do with what I eat more my intestines just STOP then start when they feel like it). Gastro doctor believes that some of the complications are due to dumping and he as well as my surgeon agree that I have had an important organ taken out so I am going to have lasting medical affects.  I am a FIGHTER, I was on disability and told I could not go back to work (sometimes my inners work way too fast...makes life very difficult for a SCHOOL TEACHER), I am back to work with accommodations (thank all who have fought for disabily laws). When does one decide to learn to live with a disability and stop saying FIX IT? [Less]
