really bothers me, I spray deodorant down there because it gets so strong.
I defecate twice a day at a minimum and could go after every meal most days. Forget grease in a meal, if I have any, I am in the bathroom within 1/2 hour emptying my bowels.
I eat pretty healthy and have no other health issues. I take no medication, OTC or prescription. No blood visible in my stool. No constipation. No painful
and my dad's Dr. insists I should start on a 5 year cycle now. Should I bring up these issues to the colonoscopy Dr. since my General Practitioner doesn't seem interested? Or is what I am describing perfectly normal and I should just relax? And yes, I am looking for a new GP.
Hi...deff talk to the dr when u go for the colonoscopy......does ur insurance allow u to go to a specialist on ur own?...if so, u do not need ur PCP to do nehting for u...if so, then deff get a new one if u can. This does not indicate cancer or a major issue, it just indicates an issue that should be addressed.
Well, got my colonoscopy today. Not good. No polyps, but a cancerous mass that needs operation. I'll have to research my options. Any suggestions/information/links etc. would be appreciated.
So sorry to hear about your mass. I'm glad to see your researching and finding out more about what you have. Sometimes it's better once you start reading it on your own. Hope you keep posting and let us know how you are doing!!
Sorry to hear the colonoscopy came out that way, but it sounds like the prognosis is good. What part of your colon did they find the mass in? Im suprised a mass that size caused no blood or constipation. Hopefully your story encourages people with a family history of colon cancer to get checked out. I wish you the best on your treatment and hope you have a speedy recovery.
In my Heppatic Flexure (sp?) just below my ribcage on the right side. Family is being tested for Lynch Syndrome, a whole lot of us on my grandmother's sister's side have been confirmed. My dad is waiting his results and they will probably do me when I go up for my operation.
There seems to be a lot of conflicting information out there (big surprise on the internet). Anyone with the Boston team experience got advice, links, books, etc.?
