for years when I was a teenager (and it slowly kept coming back even after I thought I had quit). About a year ago, I started feeling this awful burning deep in my throat
and I had some chest pain that my doctor said was heartburn. I started taking heartburn medicine and it was ok, but the medicine is kinda expensive for a college student.
One weekend, I went on a short trip and left my medicine at home. All weekend I had terrible paid. I had, regrettable, made myself sick the night before and it was the worst paid ever. I even woke up in the middle of the night in so much pain that my boyfriend freaked out and wanted to take me to the hospital.
I occasionally stop taking my medicine because it is expensive and I can't really afford it, plus there have been occasions when it didn't completely work, but last night I woke was in extreme pain and it is persistent this morning.
I want to go to my doctor about this, but the last time that I mentioned that I had been bulimic, he seemed to not even believe me and just kinda shrugged it off.
If you are in pain, I would go talk to your doctor. What is it that he doesn't believe you about? Are there generics for the medication you take? Sometimes if you talk to your doctor about affordability of medications, he can find different medications that have the same/similar actions but at a more affordable rate for you.
