An ultrasound in 2006 showed 3 liver cysts and another scan in May 2009 showed 3 more.
This is the conclusion from the scan report:
Segment 2 mixedMixed respiratory vaccine echogenicity lesion has been characterised previously as haemangioma in 2006. Three cysts in segment 8 of liver. 13mm echogenic focus in segment 8 of liver probably is another haemangioma. Segment 7 demonstrates a complex cyst measuring 7mm with echogenic centre likely representing calcification.

What does all this mean? Reason for doing this scan is to understand why I have been having pain in my upper right quadrant (infreequently) for the past 2.5 years. This pain usually starts after a fattyXanthoma meal. I am also feeling bloating and littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys presure on the right handHand or foot spasms Hand tremor side. Usually after a meal, I must go to the toilet. I had a liver function test done as well as a ultrasound for gallbladder. All were negative. I also notice a change in my bowel. It is softer than usual.

Hope someone can offer some advice. My doctor suggested another ultrasound in 3 to 6 months time.
