Odd bowel movements and now green!

Hi,
i've posted in the forum before, i thought my symptoms had improved but they are back with extra symptoms!
I've had bad cramps, loose movements and some days going frequently. It had been going on for months. I tried removing things from my diet to test for what it could be. I know im lactose intolerant so i avoid this. Also i avoid gluten as it creates bloating.
In early 2011 i had a barium xray and stomach and bowel biopsies in around april. They came back just showing some small piles and skin tags. I had a lump just inside my bottom which my gp thought was a polyp and i was feeling like a dragging there when i went to the loo. The consultant felt it and thought it was a polyp too and this led to the camera and biopsy. It didn't show anything. tested for coeliac and that was ok too.
The last month or so i've noticed a green tinge in my poo, especially when i have loose movements. This morning i had a harder poo and it was like a little lighter than khaki green and at the end of the poo it was thin as a pencil. Ive had thin poo for some time and mentioned it to the gp but she didnt seem to have any concern and didnt look into it. The softer it is the thinner it is.
Sometimes i get a ache inside my bum, more on the right side...i imagined this was the 'polyp' (which the consultant then said i didnt have a polyp there-so no idea what the lump is!) Occasional stabbing pains there.
The consultant said ibs after the tests. Liver tests in the past 2 months have been ok. My iron levels are fine, i don't take supplements which cause the green tinge and as ive been taking them a while i think its fair to say if they were to cause it, theyd have done sooner. My ibs has never caused the green or thin poo before.
Getting a little worried now and cant get an appointment til next week now. I haven't seen any blood. In the hard green poo this morning, (i was a little constipated at first then it was softer) there was browny red between but it didnt strike me as blood? Sorry to write in such detail, it's an embarrassing subject. Not the kind of thing you can ask your friends about. Im hoping it's a bacterial infection, the symptoms started getting worse before xmas after what i think was some dodgy chicken which after the first couple of mouthfuls i stopped eating. It would make sense. I have had some acid reflux but no nausea and the reflux for me comes and goes anyway and has been long term.
What i don't get though, is why my poo is so green when it was so hard today? I would assume if its hard it's took normal time to digest?  Sorry for the gross post.
Hope everyone is well.

Hi there,
i honestly don't think i eat enough green food to cause the colour change. Its so weird.
Last night i had a couple of sprouts and a little broccoli with a roast chicken dinner. I've had a green tinge to it for a while on and off and not thought too much of it really my but this morning was very obvious and it was so solid whereas i'd only noticed it in looser stool before.
I don't eat spicy food as it really affects my ibs.
On Monday i had a scan on my upper abdomen which was apparently normal, they were looking for gallstones as i get so much pain in that area, and although i get the pain sometimes in the morning, i also get it far stronger when i eat. This was suspected and ruled out before which led to the stomach biopsies and the diagnosis of ibs.
I thought the green poo cause would be something simple but ive seen that it can be serious. Trying not to worry but it's very hard not to.
