Options of treatment for solitary rectal ulcer syndrome

My sister has spent years going to different drs in australia trying to get a diagnosis. Finally one dr came up with solitary rectal ulcer syndrome.   I am a little confused regarding treatment.....she tried bio feedback and that was unsuccessful. What are the other options?

Hi I have a sister with a prolapsed bowel, symptoms include severe abdominal swelling (she looks 8 months pregnant) extreme trouble defacating and she is only able to defacate when she stands up.  Recently she is losing large amounts of mucus from her rectum.  Has anybody experienced this or could suggest possible treatments.
We are looking at possible solutions such as a rectoplexy or a collostemy bag? Has anybody had this done or know of someone?
