I HAD MY GALL BLADDER REMOVED IN SEPT 2000 AND AFTERWARDS RECOVERED VERY WELL EXCEPT FOR SEVERE WIND IN THE UPPER ABDOMEN EVERY NIGHT WHICH WOULD EASE IF I WALKED AROUND. THE DOCTOR PRESCRIBED
RANITIDINERanitidine
Ranitidine bismuth citrate
Ranitidine hydrochloride AT 2 TABLETS A DAY DOWN TO ONE A DAY ONCE I FELT BETTER. I WAS FINE AFTER ABOUT TWO MONTHS AND STOPPED TAKING THE TABLETS COMPLETELY.
A FEW MONTHS LATER I DEVELOPED '
PRESSUREPressure ulcer'PAIN IN THE LOWER ABDOMEN WHICH IS NOT BLOATEDNESS AND LASTS IN THE SEVEREST FORM FOR 4 - 6 WEEKS. THEN I HAVE THREE TO FOUR MONTHS WITHOUT ANY SYMPTOMS. THIS PAIN IS INTERMITTENT AND LASTS FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS AT A TIME DURING THE 4 - 6 WEEKS AND IS TOTALLY DEBILITATING WHILST I AM SUFFERING IT . I HAVE HAD AN ENDESCOPE AND ULCER TESTS BOTH WHICH HAVE COME BACK FINE AND THE DOCTOR HAS NOW REPRESCRIBED ME
RANITIDINERanitidine
Ranitidine bismuth citrate
Ranitidine hydrochloride. THE
PRESSUREPressure ulcer PAIN HAS GONE BUT THAT IS PROBABLY JUST WHAT NORMALLY HAPPENS. NOW WHEN I MISS THE
RANITIDINERanitidine
Ranitidine bismuth citrate
Ranitidine hydrochloride OR GET NEAR THE TIME ANOTHER TABLET IS DUE, I START TO FEEL A SENSATION LIKE ACIDY PAIN BUT I CANT QUITE DESCRIBE IT PROPERLY. I FEEL LIKE I NEED THREE TABLETS A DAY TO KEEP THE SYMPTOMS IN CHECK.
DO I REALLY HAVE TO SUFFER LIKE THIS WAITING FOR THE SEVERE PAIN TO COME BACK ALSO CAN I TAKE THE
RANITIDINERanitidine
Ranitidine bismuth citrate
Ranitidine hydrochloride PERMANENTLY WITHOUT AFFECTING MY HEALTH LONG TERM. I HAVE ASKED MY DOCTORS THIS BUT THEY JUST KEEP TELLING ME ITS IS ONE OF THOSE THINGS AND TO TAKE THE TABLETS
I am sorry to hear about your problems.
I believe that gallstones are only half of the problem.
I believe that stones can be inside liver (intrahepatic bile ducts) and inside gallbladder.
Actually, stones inside liver seems to be more common.
Now, there are many people who don't believe in this theory, especially people from medical comunity because there is no medical diagnostic method that will diagnose primary intrahepatic stones. They are usually diagnosed after liver transplant, or after obduction.
Now, nobody wants to wait until obduction.
Removal of gallbladder will take care of the problems caused by gallstones (stones inside gallbladder), but intrahepatic stones, stones inside bile ducts> can not be removed surgically.
Reason why some people have the same symptoms after surgery is the fact that symptoms are not caused by gallstones, but are caused by intrahepatic stones.
And. I believe that intrahepatic stones are causing your problems.
That is also the reason why so many people need ERCP, sometimes years after gallbladder removal. Stones are comeing from liver.
The real problem is, there is no medical diagnostic method that will diagnose primary intrahepatic stones.
They are usually diagnosed after liver transplant, or after obduction.

, you will see several photos of gallbladder surgicaly removed and photos of
gallstones.

you will see several photos of intrahepatic stones.
Both kind of stones are composed of bile ingredients (bile acids, cholesterol, bile salts, pigments, bilirubin, biliverdin)

I will copy it and paste it here:

Hi,
Two weeks after my GB surgery, I did my first liver cleanse. I'm a 44 yr. old female. I was still having attacks. My surgeon said I needed an ERCP because he thought I still had a stone stuck in the common bile duct. I didn't want to go through another medical procedure, so I did the liver cleanse. I was in severe pain if I ate any fat. The first cleanse brought immediate relief- I followed Dr. Hulda Clark's cleanse exactly and passed many stones. Two weeks later I did another cleanse and I've been pain free and symptom free ever since. I've done a total of 6 cleanses and am still passing stones. I don't know how to answer your questions about taking your medications, but I do know that the cleanse will flush out any stone in the common bile duct. I would think that an ERCP would be able to diagnose a more severe problem--like one involving the pancreas--one person posted that they had a stone stuck in the pancreas, and needed more surgery.

I have been so miserable the last 4 days, that I want to do something to help me. I take heart medication, cholesterol lowing drugs, and diabetic medication, would I have to stop taking these before the cleanse, or would I continue with them??

Now, this is just my theory, prooved by liver flush.
I have also done liver flush.
Actually, there are many people doing it.
Medical community does not want to believe in liver flush.
Do not expect your doctor to know anything about liver flush.
Be your own judge and make your own conclusion.
I am not a medical doctor, I am only expressing my opinion here.
I hope you learn something from my opinion, and from the 50 stries posted to this forum by people who continue to have the same symptoms after gallbladder removal.
Best of health,
sincerely
Iris
