Anyone suffering from PRIMARY BILIARY CIRRHOSIS?  If so how long has it been since diagnosed?
I have had it for 10 years.  I take two actigal twice daily, and my liver test have been good.  I do suffer alot of faitgue.  Interested in hearing if someelse has this same condition.

I found your post dated 4 Sep 2007 looking for others with Primary Biliary Cirrhosis.  I was just diagnosed with negative AMA PBC on 14 Jan 2009 and feel very much alone.   My family is already tired of hearing about it so I don't tell them much about how I feel any more.

It took my doctors 8 1/2 months to diagnose my condition and I had almost every medical test know to man to accomplish this.  This involved Baptist Medical Center and Mayo Clinc in Jacksonville.  

I take Urso Forte 500 mg twice a day and it's already showing that it's effective with me by lowering my liver enzymes.  My young doctor is thrilled that it's working.  

Since I began posting on MedHelp back in Sep 2008, I have noticed a decline in my health.  Fatigue is a major symptom.  Another symptom that my doctor can't explain is the dull, constant pain in my upper abdomen in the liver area.  The pain is sometimes sharp, especially after I've eaten something.  I had my gallbladder removed 10 years ago and didn't have any problems like this until around Dec 2008.  Do you have a similar ache in your side?
