Viral load is measured in IU/mL nor international units per mL. Levels above 40 M IU/mL is considered a high viral load. It is likely that 90 IU/mL means 90 million IU/mL since I'm not sure the test is sensitive to measure 90 IU/mL (although I could be wrong).
