I submitted a question accidently 3 times, was informed by doctor but he didn't answer my question. I am a first time desperate user to this forum. So I now had to pay again. I just need the answer to my Severe Heaviness and Severe Gas. QUESTION LISTED 3 X'S ON 5/19. THANK YOU

This question was already answered.  I will reprint it here:

I agree with the tests done thus far.

The negative CT scan and cardiac tests would make other causes less likely, including coronary artery disease or gallbladder/liver disease.

A 24-hr pH study can be considered if GERD is suspected, to quantify the severity. If GERD continues to be suspected, you can add Reglan or an H2-blocker like Zantac or Pepcid to the Nexium.

If the symptoms continue, surgical options may need to be considered. These options can be discussed with your GI physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

I'm 41 (female) I also suffer from the same problem. I know I have digestive problems, GERD, Hitial hernia, spastic colitis, IBS...Yesterday I found out I had four peptic ulcers.  But with what you are suffering from maybe has to do with slow transit in your colon. "Gastroparesis" it is caused by impairment of the vagus nerve. let me know...mimi65

To: Heaviness in chest
I have had heaviness on my chest as well. But when I first got it I had a tingling sensations through my entire body. I was dizzy and sweating. I had just come from self-defense and went to my next class, which was meditation. I was just in haling and exhaling with my eyes closed when i started feeling the heaviness on my chest. My face started twitching and I felt really dizzy. Everything spun. The more I breathed the worse it got. I went to my school doctor and had some tests done. He found nothing. He claimed I had symptoms of hyperventilation. But why would i get that? I was meditating. It happened again a few months later and im sitting here today again for the 3rd time with heaviness on my chest. Why is this happening to me. It is a little hard to breath but this time I had just woken up. Can someone tell me what is going on? Thanks.
