I have Gerd and the Dr. just put me on Prozac for a problem I am having. Everytime I take the Prozac my Esophogus really acts up badly. I get a terrible burning in my throat area and then I start refluxing bad and then I get pain in my esophogis. I don't want to stop taking the Prozac as it is really helping the problem I have but I cannot continue to harm my Esophogus any longer either.Do you have any ideas as to what I can do to help myself? I have tried coating my esophogus with Gaviscon before taking meds but to no avail.
