PSA/Cancer

by Barb71, Feb 13, 2009 11:19PM
We don't know what's happening at this point.  A number of years ago my husband had a radical prostatectomy but their appeared further cancer so radiation was done for seven weeks and since then, when the PSA goes up he is given a Lupron injection which hasn't happened offen.  The doctor went ahead this time and had him have a bone scan and sees something on a left rib and in some of his joints.  This scares us because my husbands kidneys have failed and he is on dialysis now.  We're not sure what's going to happen after we see the doctor (urologist).  We wonder what can be done if it is cancer.

This discussion is related to Pain in left side under ribs.
