Pain after eating

I am a 38 year male who has been healthy; just a few weeks ago I have been getting pain just under my bottom left rib cage. This only happens after I have eaten, the pain would last for about 5min then would ease off but would leave a dull pain (like a stitch) My bowel motions  have not changed so far. I have noticed that I have had a increases of flatulence and belching. My weight is 100kg height 183cm

I had similar symptoms and my problem turned out to be gallstones.  The pain is supposed to be on the right, but mine was on the left.  It was also more in my back, which can happen with gallbladder disease.  

It sounds like it be related to reflux of stomach acid, also.  Have you tried any medications for acid reflux, even Pepcid Complete, to see if it makes a difference.  What I like about Pepcid Complete is that it has 2 ingredients, one working quickly and one with a more lasting effect, and you only have to chew 1 or 2 tablets instead of about 4 Tums or Rolaids.
