Pain and lump in throat

I have been for 3 months now been feeling a lump in the back of the throat all the time, and when i eat it gives me a sharp pain when swallowing for a hour or so after eating. I looked in the back tonight and noticed that there was thin black lines in the back, but when swallowed hard many times, it disappeared down the throat, but does come back. What is wrong with my throat?

You need to check with your doc and see if there is something 'physically' present, or see if the lump is actually a sensation that accompanies a condition such as GERD.
