Pain in Sternum area while sleeping

by Bellarue, Oct 01, 2009 08:54AM
Tags: Pain, sternum
Recently, for two consecutive nights, I have woken with pain in the chest area, primarily in the sternum, radiating to the right side of my chest and also, radiating in the right side of my spine into shoulder area.  I would compare the sensation to that of a severe hunger pain, only relocating higher.  I eat a few crackers and it seems to calm for an hour or so, then repeats.

could be gasteritis with acid reflux,,the reflux of acid into the esophagus would then cause the esophigus to spasm,,,and cause that pain.
or possible gallbladder issues....but i wouldnt bet money on that one just yet,
