. I had the same problem when I was in my late twenties and I am now 61. I had all of the test run with no conclusions then I finally found a doctor who told me I was not sleeping enough and needed more rest. With two small active children and a full-time job, I knew he was right. I started trying to sleep more that 5 hours a night. I sometimes made it 8 hours and it made all of the difference. I think we do not realize how important sleep is when we are young, I have had several heart attacks with the first one being when I was 55. I think it was because I lived with too much stress, not enough rest, and I did not take as good of care of myself as I should have. However, my adult son occasionally has muscle tears in his left chest that feels similar. He is strong and muscular
and works a very physical job. He has a high tolerance for pain and often overworks his muscles causing this condition. I hope some of this helps those looking for answers. SLEEP!
