I was recently diagnosed with disfunctional gall bladder.  Believe it or not my pain is mainly "referred" left front ab to back pain.  I first thought it was kidney stones. Then mid ab pain with extreme gas pain started after 1 month, but no unusual  right pain.  No sensativity to fatty food?  My sister also has a disfuntional gall bladder,  SHE definitely has typical gall bladder symptoms. I know of so many people with gall bladder problems, from stones to vague symptoms like mine.  I have found that the old saying "Everyone is different" definitely fits this. Good luck.
