I am having problem with my upper abdomen only at night and when I am sleeping. Sometimes it feels the pain is coming from the lungs and especially if I have deep breathe.
I noticed it will get worse if I am sleeping on my back for long time. When I stand up and walk around for few minutes, the pain will go away.
I started watching it. I noticed that it occurs when I drink alcohol before sleeping.
pancreas problems will cause pain dead center, just below ribline,or off to left side some, and extend into back sometimes.
...but on the GOOD SIDE...it could be something as simple as reflux causing pain in esophigus when laying down, and get better when you stand.try chewing some antacids before laying down,,,see if that helps.
im no doc, this is just a guess on your symptoms..good luck
