Might be hemorrhoids, which is very common in people, they are swollen tissue that happens from straining from constipation.  The tissue can itch, hurt, and when waste goes by them, they'll sometimes even bleed a little bit.  To avoid constipation, you have to exercise regularly, drink plenty of water, and get enough fiber in your foods.  It's that simple, so do that.  To help with the pain while you get your digestion straight, you can put plain KY jelly on there after you bathe, and it'll make it less painful when you do go later on.
