Pain in upper middle stomach

by helplord74427, Dec 08, 2008 03:30PM
I have shingles and thought when I got too stressed, ahold of too much caffeine, any chocolate, nuts, or seeds that pain that felt like it was tearing my gut out was a sign that I better stop. It starts like you have taken something for arthritis and it hurts your stomach so you know you can't take it. Lately it has been more often down to daily. I really can't afford a bunch of tests and I just learned that I am allergic to Prilosec. I also have a spastic colon and nervous stomach and have a generic prescription I've seldomed used for Librax for that. I've been running to the bathroom alot lately. I am hoping the upper thing is not a peptic ulcer, which I had about 25 yrs. ago during a very stressful time. Any recommendations for natural or over the counter treatment?
