Pain one year after gallbladder removal.

Pain one year after gallbladder removal.

I had my gallbladder removed in August of 2009 due to chronic infection (HIDA scan was 14, but no stones present).  I was feeling pretty good for the first couple of months after surgery, aside from darrhea, which I was told was quite common, but for the last several months I have had terrible indigestion, heartburn, and at times will have pain where my gallbladder was.  My doctor prescribed Zegerid, which helps sometimes, but there are weeks that it doesn't touch it.  One day I will eat something and it doesn't bother me, but the next time I eat it I am miserable.  I also have pain in my back between my shoulder blades, which I relate to whatever this is.  I'm wondering if there are others out there suffering from the same issues.  And if there are, what have you found to relieve the pain.  I haven't had any further tests done.  I would like to avoid that if I can.  Thanks.
