If you wanted to try to eliminate all gluten, you'd have to take out all wheat, rye, barley, and malt from your diet. ANYTHING with wheat in any form will continue to provoke a reaction.
for 20.00 you can order anti parasitic herbs off the internet or go to walmart and try a 7 day total body detox for $20.00
I have just switched to 100% wheat bread as it is the only bread that tastes anything like english bread.
Hmmm it's a possibility but I did have whole wheat a lot in England.
My problem is affording to go to the doctors... I just can't and too have another $4000 bill would make me sicker than now lol.
I tried benadryl today, it seemed to make the rash go down slightly, but I noticed the pain increased a lot in my stomach area.
Thank you very much for your advice.
Gary, it's difficult to tell you anything about the rash based upon the picture. From the size and shape it could be due to a number of things including shingles which follows the dermatome of that area. But I believe you'd be experiencing more pain with that condition.
At this point in time your symptoms are unfortunately a bit vague. But you may want to try keeping your diet very simple by staying away from fats and greasy foods as well as any soda or alcohol. Pain under the ribs on the left can be the result of stomach problem, and when it's a couple of inches below where the ribs join in the front it could be at the connection from the stomach to the duodenum.
That location, and the fact that you have pain and are displaying a rash would typically suggest (to me) that you might want to consider being checked for celiac disease. It's a condition that present in a lot of different forms and have a number of non-specific symptoms - it's a great mimic of a lot of GI issues. If you wanted to try to rule that out, you'd need to stay away from all wheat, rye, barley, malt and possibly oat products. For many that are tested and turn out negative, an elimination diet is the only way to finally figure out what's going on.
I came back to check...
I will check again later :(
I have added a photo of the rash in my profile.
Sorry and the pain started more or less a few hours later.
No nothing of the above, my pain is just lower of my left side ribs extending down and across to middle right.
The pain like I say is likened to that of someone having just pulled on my hair on my head. Which is the closest i can descibe it.
I have had some shifts in mood also, Mainly feeling agitated and I'm normally a calm person.
The actual rash is about 3 inches across and two inches up under my left shoulder blade.
If i do touch this i get a sharp pain, which also triggers a bit of stomach pain,
I'm feeling sick off and on... no food allergies at all.
I seem to be getting a closed gritty feeling at the back of my throat and a bit of a sharp pain in my right lung region too, especially when I breath in deeply.
:(
Like i say i am normally completely healthy... the rash appeared between going to bed and getting up 3 nights ago.
A rash can accompany a couple of different conditions, but it could also be entirely unrelated, sorry to say. Can you give a better description of your pain and 'where' it's located - some people use the word stomach to mean lower abdomen, etc. So specific locations might help.
Any history of food intolerance issues in your family like celiac disease? That disease can bring on non-specific discomfort and rashes. It can also have other symptoms like headache, brain-fog, etc.
Any changes in bowel habits? Any underlying GI issues or medical issues at all? On any medications?
