Pain under left front side of ribcage

I've been getting terrible pains, very similar to a gall bladder attack (but i've had that removed years ago.) It's similar to a bad gas pain right under the front left side, right under my ribs. I was wondering if maybe it was my spleen?

Ive had pain similar to yours on and off for the past year.  I also suffer from terrible nausea.  I recently had an upper GI endoscopy and was diagnosed with gastritis.  Ive been taking 30mg lansoprazole once or twice a day (depending on how bad I feel) this helps a little.
