Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me with the following eating problem i have. The majority of the time i eat (but not always) i get a pain in my back which stops me from eating. I have to bring up lots of saliva which allows me to burp to stop the pain. I have had the problem for a few years now and cannot relate the problem to any particular foods etc. I'm not sure if im creating to much saliva or what. Its not that im eating too fast becuase i eat ridiculously slow and make sure i digest my food to prevent this from happening which doesnt seem to make any difference either. If anyone could give me any help i would love to hear it !!
Have you seen a GI Doctor and had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done? I am not a big believer in these two procedures (I have had about 4 of each over the past 4 years), but the docs always want to start with this. It could be your gallbladder (I had issues with eating to the point that I couldn't eat anything because of the pain afterwards) - it does not have to be stones - after months of cat scans, mri's and ultrasounds where they were looking for stones, I had a HIDA scan done that showed my gallbladder was not working or functioning as it should and had to have it removed. Also, could be a blockage
