See the gatstro doc again. Was the colon cancer a result of chrons? You need to be tested for chrons. Your symptoms are similar to mine when my chrons was at its worse. I too had bowel resection at the illium and they found stage 1 colon cancer. It is not uncommon for the chrons to come back at the site of the resection. Check with your doctor asap. The sudden pain could be from twisting of the bowel.
Good luck
Jayne
Have you seen a doctor about this? It might be something like a hernia because it is worse when you cross your legs.
Ok Ive had 4 brain surgs & one colon cancer surg, stage 1.The pain Im experiencing is right lower abdomen almost in the crease between my leg & abdomen. Its not getting any better. Sometimes the pain is sharp & sometimes a burning pain. Its stronger if I have my legs crossed for a little. It happens walking, standing & sitting. Sometime the pain is extremly sudden. Thank you, deetle
Welcome to the gastroenterology community! It doesn't appear that you have posted before so I don't know what you mean by "3rd time." Can you please give us a little more information about the surgery and what tests you have had done.
