Pain

by CarrieJo, Dec 04, 2001 12:00AM
I have had a pain in my right side under the rib cage. I have had the tests for gall bladder and the results have been that it is funtioning at 9 instead of the normal 35 or whatever. Most people with gall bladder problems have a pain after eating and that eventually goes away, my pain is constant and never goes away. I am scheduled to have this removed but not for 3 weeks yet. I just wondered if this constant pain is common in patients with gall bladder problems such as this?

You may want to wait on the gall bladder removal.  Ask your dr. to check you for costochrondritis.  It's rib pain that is constant in the area you are complaing of. keep the faith kaya
